چکیده

Introduction: Magnesium rich amorphous silicates are major component of dust in the interstellar medium. At the birth of stars, when the ISM cloud collapses, dusts are incorporated in the forming disk. Temperature progressively increases along the disk when approaching the inner regions [1,2,3]. So they were subjected to various temperature conditions for long periods as they travel along the disk by radial transport [4,5]. Because they are processed by irradiation [6] in the ISM cloud, silicate dusts are far from equilibrium in addition to their small size and their porosity. Structural features of precursors (irradiated, nanostructured, likely porous aggregates) may influence their crystallization behavior under thermal annealing. Understanding how such disordered materials behave during their crystallization could probably give insights into formation of minerals studied in infrared observatories or found in natural object (IDPs, fine-grained micrometeorites, finegrained matrix of primitive chondrites, Wild 2 dust).

تولید و مشخصه‌یابی کلسیم منیزیم سیلیکات نانو متخلخل و بررسی اثر دمای کلسیناسیون بر رفتار دارورسانی آن

In this study, the synthesis of nano-porous calcium magnesium silicate was performed and studied to improve drug properties and drug release. This synthesis was carried out by using the tetraethyl ortho silicate precursor (TEOS) and the Cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide surfactant (CTAB) in a sol-gel alkaline environment; and the product was heat treated at 600° C and 800° C temperatures....

Investigation and comparison of calcium aluminate phases obtained by three methods of sol-gel (with EDTA), sol-gel (without EDTA) and solid-phase synthesis

In this study, we investigate calcium aluminate phases that were prepared by three different solid phase synthesis methods and a sol-gel method (with and without EDTA). The purpose of this study is to compare these three methods in terms of achieving higher purity, optimal phase and complexity in the production of the final product. Comparing the results, we found that the sol-gel method is mo...

Sol-Gel Synthesis, in vitro Behavior, and Human Bone Marrow-Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cell Differentiation and Proliferation of Bioactive Glass 58S

Background: Bioactive glasses 58S, are silicate-based materials containing calcium and phosphate, which dissolved in body fluid and bond to the bone tissue. This type of bioactive glass is highly biocompatible and has a wide range of clinical applications. Methods: The 58S glass powders were synthesized via sol-gel methods, using tetraethyl orthosilicate, triethyl phosphate, and calcium nitrate...
